AUTOMOTIVE PURCHASING

Q: In addition to the consulting fees listed on your site, are there any other costs to me?
A: No. Auto Butler simply charges a flat fee and there are no hidden amounts or further costs that will be paid to us.

Q: Will I be limited to specific brands/manufacturers?
A: Definitely not. We work with all car manufacturers and automotive brands.

Q: I know the car I would like, can you simply help me find it and/or secure a better price?
A: Yes. We have a package tailored specifically for this. See our ‘Purchase Only’ for more details on how this works.

Q: Who do I purchase the car from – Auto Butler or the dealership?
A: You purchase the car directly from the dealership at the reduced price we have negotiated for you.

Q: Do I still have an option to purchase, finance or lease the car when using Auto Butler?
A: Absolutely. We will guide you through all options, including financing through a third party, and provide advice on the best choice.

Q: Does Auto Butler consult on both new and used/pre-owned cars?
A: Yes, however, when sourcing used cars, we only explore Certified Pre-Owned cars from the manufacturer. This ensures a manufacturers warranty. In some very rare circumstances we source specific used cars – often uncommon makes and models.

Q: Can Auto Butler help me with my trade-in?
A: Yes. We work with dealers to achieve the highest trade-in values. We also have our own network of wholesalers that may purchase your car.

Q: Can Auto Butler still secure manufacturer incentives, loyalty promotions or special rates?
A: Of course. We take advantage of any incentives that the dealership has to offer – plus a few other that may not be advertised.

Q: Can Auto Butler help in sourcing multiple vehicles or corporate fleets?
A: Definitely. We can source multiple vehicles of different or similar makes and models. Please contact us for details.

 

EXECUTIVE MAINTENANCE

Q: Do you use reputable garages and mechanics?
A: Absolutely. For the most part we use manufacturer dealerships. On a case by case basis we also use specialists that are tailored to the make and needs of the vehicle.

Q: Will the work be warrantied?
A: Yes, you would receive a warranty from the service provider or manufacturer. Auto Butler does not impact the warranty that you would be entitled to. The warranty is connected to your vehicle and not to Auto Butler.

Q: Can I use my own shop/service provider?
A: Yes, we are happy to work with anyone that you have a history with. We can not guarantee the same savings or service quality but will happily work with your service provider.

Q: Can Auto Butler arrange a rental or loaner car?
A: Yes. If the relevant dealership offers a loaner car, we would be happy to arrange this car for you. We can also access preferred rates with car rental companies if needed.

Q: Am I required to be present for the appointments?
A: Majority of the time your presence is only required to provide the keys to your vehicle. You are not required to be present at the appointment except for very rare cases.

Q: Do I need to speak with the mechanic, supplier, etc.?
A: Only if you like. Most of our clients use Auto Butler as their sole point of contact. We are here to provide you with an educated, un-biased, opinion on each transaction. In rare cases the shop may wish to speak directly to you.

Q: Who pays for the services performed on my car?
A: You will pay the invoice amount directly to the service provider. Typically you are not required to be present for this transaction and you never need to leave your home, office or visit the service provider. Note that some services are ‘included’ in the packages and there are no additional costs to you.

Q: Are these packages available for all brands/makes?
A: Generally, yes. We have not yet had a brand or make that we cannot work with. Our client vehicles range from sub-compacts to exotics and sports cars to service trucks.

Q: How far can one take the custom packages?
A: Generally, as far as you like. We have clients as clear as Package 1 to clients that have us check up on their car weekly, regular transport to and from out of town locations, and arranging for bi-weekly detailing.
 

ACCESSORIES

Q: What about after-market accessories, can Auto Butler help?
A: Sure. We can help with just about any automotive accessory or aftermarket item. We can source these items and, in most cases, secure them at a discount from the supplier.

Q: Are these items warrantied?
A: Yes, they will be covered by the same warranty and guaranty should you secure the service yourself. I

 

IMPORTING / EXPORTING

Q: Does Auto Butler accompany the car along the way?
A: Well, that depends. We can source the best 3rd party to handle the process or, in some cases, arrange a personalized chauffeur to drive or accompany the car from its home to its destination.
